Scott Hagan, also known as the Barn Artist, will be the featured guest at the 2012 Heritage Festival. Before there were billboards, there were barns! Scott is preserving the tradition of barn painting across America. His goal is to paint on a barn or building in every state!
The BRCA gym will be Scott’s first building to paint in South Carolina! Scott will arrive the week before the festival and paint all week. Everyone is welcome to come and watch his progress during the week. Feel free to invite your friends, bring your chairs and pack a picnic. Then come back Saturday, April 28th for the final unveiling of his BRCA masterpiece. |

The scenic hayride weaves through the 240 acre campus with breathtaking views of Glassy Mountain, across the Middle Tyger River, and stops just long enough for a photo opportunity of an old fashioned covered bridge and mill. Listen to the storyteller retrace the roots of the property and join in a sing-a-long! A favorite for kids and adults!
And more - Yes, there is more! Come on out and experience it for yourself! Bring a chair or blanket and plan to spend the whole day at the foothills of Glassy Mountain!
